From the Mission Field
Mission in Malawi
We support local Malawi pastors by training God-called men of Malawi to take God's Word to many different villages in Malawi.
God is working through the Matsuda family’s ministry in Arequipa, Peru, especially through their first camp on their own property and the growing church that has followed.
Summary of the Missionary Update
Their first camp welcomed 40–50 local children, many hearing the Gospel for the first time through preaching, Bible lessons, games, and skits.
After camp, many children returned to church with friends and family, leading to weekly Youth and Ladies’ Meetings and a growing congregation of 50–60 people with classes for all ages.
The church has improved its property with new restrooms, water systems, and activity areas, and the family has traveled to Chile and Huancayo to encourage other churches and serve in conferences.
They ask for prayer for serious needs among their young people, for salvation, wisdom, and protection, and for Andy as he finishes high school.
The Matsudas are deeply grateful for the prayers and support that made camp possible and give God all the glory for what He is doing in Peru.
